Climate change may actually benefit oysters in California in the long term because they grow faster at warmer temperatures and are tolerant of extreme temperatures. But first they would have to survive a spike in oyster drills, a predatory snail that also grows faster in warmer conditions but that is less tolerant of extreme conditions, according to a study from swag�� Bodega Marine Laboratory.
