Madeleine Albright coming to swagÍâÁ÷' Mondavi Center

Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, the first woman to hold the post, will discuss her time at the highest levels of the federal government at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, in the Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts on the swagÍâÁ÷ campus.

Albright is expected to discuss the range of foreign affairs, including the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, during an on-stage conversation with swagÍâÁ÷ political science professor Larry Berman. Appointed by President Bill Clinton, Albright served as secretary of state from January 1997 until January 2001.
